Chicory root comes from a plant with bright blue flowers that belongs to the dandelion family. Employed for centuries in cooking and traditional medicine, it’s commonly used as a coffee alternative, as it has a similar taste and color.

Certified Organic Roasted Chicory Root.
Use 1 teaspoon per cup of boiling water. Steep for 3-6 minutes and strain. Half dose for children over 12. 2–5 cups maximum daily. If too strong or bitter, reduce the quantity of herb and steep for less time. Add apple or pear slices to taste.
