Berberine is a bioactive alkaloid sourced from the roots of Berberis aristata, a plant belonging to the Barberry family. Caruso’s Berberine 500 contains a

standardised extract of berberine. It helps maintain healthy blood sugar and assists sugar and carbohydrate metabolism. Berberine is also used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to help protect the liver and support bile flow.

Each tablet contains:

Berberis aristata (Indian Barberry) ext. dry conc. 1g (1,000mg)

    From min. dry root 90g (90,000mg)

    Std. to Berberine 500mg 

Adults: Take 1 tablet up to 2 to 3 times a day with each main meal, or as advised by your health professional.
